After reading this review and the sample that is accessible on Amazon, the reader becomes curious and is eventually persuaded to go explore the book world. After reading it, readers won't be able to put the book down because to its compelling plot.
I completely agree—the review does a fantastic job of teasing the story without giving too much away.

The character of Cinch McCall, with her unique backstory and formidable skills, seems incredibly intriguing. The vivid descriptions and strong plot have piqued my interest, especially with the comparison to a Clint Eastwood Western. I'm excited to see how the themes of revenge and survival are explored in this book.
Cinch McCall's character is one of the most intriguing aspects for me as well. Her journey and the mix of Western and kung fu themes sound incredibly unique.

A female "Clint Eastwood" in a Western sounds good to me. There are an abundance of stories about the pioneer age that portray women as only observers. Seeing one that features a more feisty character is pleasant. And I appreciate how beautifully worded it was.

The story is action-packed and interesting to read; the tone and flow are good. Refuge, by Mike Shellenbergar, is about Cinch McCall, her revenge, and personal tragedy. This story, with a female lead in Western novel and clear writing, will make for a good read.

I think I'd love this "revenge" story. Cinch McCall has come a long way since she was abducted as a young girl. She will triumph over her enemies, no doubt, what with being a kung fu expert and having great shooting skills and survival instincts. Thanks for the review!

I like historically set novels such as this one set in the 1800s featuring a strong female character, Cinch McCall. I like the story's description of horses and ranches. Thanks.

The book has a fresh start which makes the reader feel.more comfortable reading. The depiction of the Main character as a female who has survived in a cruel place like the Midwest is a different approach from the normal cowboy stories. Can recommend to read . The author puts the sceneries in details which helps to immerse the reader more into the world created inside the book

HI @Damian Keyes, I just read your comments on the official review of "Rufuge: and I agree with you that is a good revenge story but there is so much more that should be included like the fact that Cinch had been abducted and her family was killed. She escaped and the pursued the Comancheros/ I would also include Cinch's Kung Fu and sharp shooting skills that may equalize the group during a confrontation with the abductors, This is an exciting thriller that members are doing to want to read. @Mrlefty0706
