When pigs fly by fries was a very emotional book for me.I sympathize so much with cancer victims especially children. Its not a good disease and so I read this book closely not to omit anything. I really felt for Nicole!

This review possesses the very light peaceful tone of the book described. The sample gives an inclination of the religious perspective of the book that you allude to in your review.

It definitely sounds interesting. The topics covered after life, grief and loss give the reader something to think about. Good review. :tiphat:

"It is a fictional story about a young girl named Nicole who has passed away from cancer. The journey is what takes place after her death." The novel is full of inspirational facts about patients who are undergoing cancer treatment.

I am curious to know why the book is titled "When Pigs Fly" there is no hint about it in the review, though it scares me to read such an emotional book. Thank you for the review.

Nice review. This book sounds like quite the emotional journey. The story of what happens to a little girl who passed away from cancer after her death has to be both intriguing and moving. Thanks so much for sharing.

This emotional story describes what happens to a little girl after losing her battle with cancer as well as to her loved ones left behind. The fact that it offers peace and comfort as well as something to look forward to has me curious to read it for myself.

I am uncomfortable with life-after-death stories, but this sounds very well written and I am sure it will provide a source of comfort to persons who have sadly lost a young loved one. Thanks for your review.

I would like to thank this site for making this book the book of the day. I think that this would be a great book of the month in the very near future. As someone who has been through the deaths of two people because of cancer, I appreciate that someone has taken the time to write a book like this. It is important for everyone affected by this disease to take time to heal from the death of a loved one and to appreciate the small victories in life.

I read the sample before I read your review, and in the opening pages, I did not know what was happening, but as it moved along, I realized Nicole had just recently died. I think this book would have taken me time to read because just like you, I would have wanted to enjoy it because it is written so uniquely, and the images she uses were quite descriptive and beautiful. Thanks for this informative review, and it sounds like it resonated with your heart.

This is an interesting review-quite intense and emotional. I am a bit undecided about reading this book though, not too sure if I would like an after-life story. All the same congrats to the author on #BOTD

The title of the book made me laugh at first reading, but when i started reading about the book i felt the story quite heart touching. The story of a girl who passed away after fighting with cancer and leaving behind the memories for her close friends and relatives, and After her passing away she steps into her after life journey which is covered in second part of this book. This is a quite an emotional and a heart touching story.
