Review of Chasing the Rabbit
Chasing The Rabbit by Jerry A. Greenberg is a 185 paged emotion-filled book which elaborately describes the life of the Grangers and their suspense-filled social interactions with emphasis made to Mr and Mrs Granger. Mr Granger has had a perfect, hitch-free career attaining the highest of his expectations to himself, his colleagues, his peers, his organization and ultimately his family but he still possessed the zeal to achieve more as he perceived time had permitted him to do so, only to be drastically disrupted by an unforeseen occurrence which would not only end his perfect run but also alter his perception of life and eventually force him to take an alternative route through a post-planned package. What will you do when all you have ever known is forcefully taken from you? How would you turn out after deciding to take an alternative route that did not initially exist? Read and find out the answers to these questions.
Chasing The Rabbit by Jerry A. Greenberg is a very sensitive piece with the author conveying a very serious question of what an individual will do with the later days of their life, which gives the reader an atmosphere to reflect on their past, current and future aspirations, which I actually appreciated. The story line is well-furnished with precise descriptions of emotions expressed by characters, events that unfolded, and dialogues conducted within various characters including that of the 'wolf and the rabbit' which I found quite comical. Through reading one can pick instances of sorrow, confusion, happiness and even some level of mystery which in itself was very intriguing.
The book forced a few laughs and giggles while reading as its content are not only realistic but very relatable. I found the message conveyed by the book very appealing and did not see any reason to dislike it.
My rating of the book is a 4 out of 4 because the book is well edited with no errors, and constructed without any hinderances in the flow of the book to the reader.
I recommend book to the youth as it may provide some clues as to what they need to reflect upon to attain their respective long-term dreams and desires.
