I absolutely loved it! I gave it a 4 out of 4. I really enjoyed all of the characters and they seemed to act as you think they would based on their personalities. I didn't like that Renfield had to die, but it was a major turn and forced Kata to figure out his own way out and be able to take Tau with him. So in the end, although sad, I think it was necessary. I would definitely recommend this book.

I have always been interested in sci-fi and this book made me a bigger fan of it. It was intriguing and gripping. I was constantly comparing the book with black mirror because of the instances. Super fun to read! Waiting for the sequel!!
Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.

This book was right up my alley. I was excited to read this one and it did not disappoint. It is a science fiction book with teenage characters set in college with some dystopian background. It was a gripping tale about how our future may look like in the next 100 years. It also touches upon some sensitive topics such as violence and abuse, it is not graphic.

The book deals with mature topics sensitively while still being true to itself. The characters are portrayed as strong individuals with a responsibility towards the future. Some aspects of the book are relatable such as the efforts to fit in by the main protagonist. The author has designed a dark sense of humor which was pretty good. It helped in lightening the atmosphere amid the serious storyline.

Overall I would give this book 4 out of 4 stars. It is a great read to stimulate your imagination.

I haven't read this book yet but would really love to. Sounds like a solid sci-fi thriller with very many twists and turns plus it touches on important subjects.

4 out of 4 stars from me. Superbly written science fiction story. The characters are believable. A surprising twist for me was that by the end of the book I was rooting for and worried about Tau. I will be reading more from this author.

By the way, can anyone tell me if it is a stand-alone?
I heard there is a sequel and more being written.

I too enjoyed the book. It drew me in and didn’t let go. I love how the two main characters both change and develop over time. I am amazed at how clueless Mason was even minutes before his death.

I haven't had the chance to read the book yet, but I am a fan of science-fiction. From the raving reviews, I am sure that I will not be able to put it down.
But the path I’ve chosen has always been the right one, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. :)

You heard correctly ;) The sequel, Homecoming, is available now, and there are three more books planned. I hope to release Book 3 at the end of this year, but I can't promise anything at this early stage :D

Project Tau is Book 1 of the series, and yes, as such it can be read as a stand-alone :P I try to avoid extreme cliffhanger endings, as they irritate me as a reader.
