:techie-studyingbrown: This biblical quote reflects the presence of God. Gen.15:1 After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

:wine: :coffee3-smiley: During times of putting your faith to the test, this scripture has held particular appeal to me, Genesis 18:14 Is any thing too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son." God's promises are always true, they are yea and amen. He brings them to fruition at his appointed time. Hold on to your faith and the promises of God!

I think you're right. Each chapter ending with a quote from the Bible makes the book really inspiring!

The Lord is close to the the broken-hearted and saves those who’re crushed in the spirit.(34:18)

This verse is actually very soothing,I had to keep reading out loud to relish the feelings.
I felt the energy and the promise of God in my life.

Whenever you feel perturbed,Utter this verse with faith and you’ll feel relief wash over you.

when you fall
John 1:4-9

"In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it. There was a man sent from God whose name was John. He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.
The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world."

You have inspired me to read so many scriptures in the New Testament.
I love this one and it can apply in these times when we were social distancing or otherwise feel lonely.

Hebrews 13:5-6

"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,

“Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.”

So we say with confidence,

“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?”
“Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.”

:cooking: :congratualtions-smiley: :topic: Another verse that speaks of God's ability to provide for His people is Psalm 23. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

:cooking: :escribir: Another verse that speaks about victory with Jesus--Psalm 25:1-2 Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

I like all the verses the author used in the book. I have found a scripture that helped me through crisis, Psalm 91. I find it so uplifting, when we are having fear in life. It is comforting knowing that we are not alone.

I completely agree with you. I do have Bible verses that help me in various situations.
