I think you're right. Each chapter ending with a quote from the Bible makes the book really inspiring!

This verse is actually very soothing,I had to keep reading out loud to relish the feelings.
I felt the energy and the promise of God in my life.
Whenever you feel perturbed,Utter this verse with faith and you’ll feel relief wash over you.

John 1:4-9
"In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it. There was a man sent from God whose name was John. He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.
The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world."

I love this one and it can apply in these times when we were social distancing or otherwise feel lonely.
Hebrews 13:5-6
"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,
“Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.”
So we say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?”

I completely agree with you. I do have Bible verses that help me in various situations.AntonelaMaria wrote: ↑01 May 2020, 05:09 I loved that part of the book too. I think there are many great Bible verses out there but I usually when in crisis just talk to God with my own little words. That is not to say that I don't love Psalm 23 very much. Beacuse I do.
