I look forward to reading your review. I am about to submit mine, and give it two stars since I wasn't very impressed with the overall reading experience.Mstrtim wrote: ↑06 Jun 2020, 12:44 I'm about halfway through the book and part of me simply wants to stop reading it altogether. The concept is good, the writing is good, but the presentation is totally awful with Adam and Even and their numerous children speaking as if they hold advanced degrees. Plus, anachronisms abound. But I'll power through, finish it and write a complete review.

The one thing that I like about this book is the author's clearly depiction of God as a loving father. There isn't anything I dislike about the book as it is well written and informative on the historical events that happened from the time of Adam and Eve to the time of Noah.
I recommend this book to every Christian irregardless of the age who would want to learn more about the events that took place at the time of Adam and Noah.

I don't feel like you have to be a Christian to enjoy the book. It helps if you're familiar with the stories of Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, Noah and the ark. But the author gives the biblical background also in the book. I am agnostic with Christian background and did not terribly enjoy the book, but plenty of others do.Mrunalpatki wrote: ↑08 Jun 2020, 00:33 Bible stories - do I read this book? I am not a religious person and a Hindu. So I am really wondering if this book will be interesting enough for me. Any suggestions?

I feel the sameXenolyph wrote: ↑07 Jun 2020, 21:34 I read this book a while back and I wasn't impressed. It was interesting for the author to fill in the blanks of biblical text with his own imagination and creativity. However, the content struggled to hold my attention. I'm afraid this wasn't the book for me. I'm glad others have enjoyed it, though!
