It is very catchy. I was hooked too by the title only. If that was the author's intention then it worked.

In what sense was it misleading you? I liked the title, then I read the summary of the book so I knew what to expect.Nama Winnie wrote: ↑03 Jun 2020, 23:21The title actually attracted me to try reading it. I think it's catchy but misleading
Of course, a book can still disappoint after that but for me it's not about the title anymore.

I also think that was the author main intention, the human view of the book. Otherwise thanks for dropping a commentDee_Robert wrote: ↑02 Jun 2020, 05:28 Haha.
As I read, I'm beginning to think it should be called 'Revisions.
But I think I may understand the name, maybe the authors intention was to show that he's writing from the human side of things, the relatable side.

That what I thought of it too, only to find the book was more religious.ArriettyClock wrote: ↑02 Jun 2020, 07:21 The title did make me think that it was a crime drama rather than a religious book. I think the title should reflect the content of the book more.

That's what I thought too only to read it and find that it was more of religion than the death of Abel itself.ArriettyClock wrote: ↑02 Jun 2020, 07:21 The title did make me think that it was a crime drama rather than a religious book. I think the title should reflect the content of the book more.

I agree with you that it's intriguing and captivating but do you think at least the title should cover the whole book not necessarily some parts of it.

At first I thought it was more of war than necessary biblical, only to find its more biblical in nature.Lady-of-Literature wrote: ↑02 Jun 2020, 17:49 I figured this book dealt with the bible in some way judging by the name. It certainly captures the attention.
