It is very catchy. I was hooked too by the title only. If that was the author's intention then it worked.

The title actually attracted me to try reading it. I think it's catchy but misleading
In what sense was it misleading you? I liked the title, then I read the summary of the book so I knew what to expect.

Of course, a book can still disappoint after that but for me it's not about the title anymore.

As I read, I'm beginning to think it should be called 'Revisions.

But I think I may understand the name, maybe the authors intention was to show that he's writing from the human side of things, the relatable side.
I also think that was the author main intention, the human view of the book. Otherwise thanks for dropping a comment

I think so too but maybe he was viewing it on human perspective. Thanks for the comment.

That what I thought of it too, only to find the book was more religious.

That's what I thought too only to read it and find that it was more of religion than the death of Abel itself.

I agree with you that it's intriguing and captivating but do you think at least the title should cover the whole book not necessarily some parts of it.

At first I thought it was more of war than necessary biblical, only to find its more biblical in nature.

"Why did Cain kill Abel?" This is the question that I thought of once I saw this title. So, I think that the author named his book this specifically to put this question in reader's heads. But yes, the book delves much deeper into biblical history than just Abel's death.

The stories were good. Although, I think the title was chosen intentionally. It's purpose was to catch the attention of readers. Hence, it didn't connect or relate to the story.

Titles are based on author's judgements, so long as it gives an idea of what the book entails, whether in part or in whole.

The title seems intriguing and would invite readers to pick up the book, which I suppose is the point. But I agree with you; it does seem a little off-base, given the content.
