From a sampling, this seems like an interesting fantasy novel following a barbarian warrior and his pocket fish companion as they travel the world or Grome looking for the mysterious Pudding of Power. Will they find what they are looking for? It might be worth a second look. Well done.

At first glance I wasn't even remotely interested in this book. However, after reading your review, I might have to change my thinking. Any author that can take some of these fantasy novels and turn it in to entertainment, deserves my time. Thank you for such a great review!

This fantasy novel seems exceptionally unique compared to other books in this genre. If a bit bizarre, it sounds humorous and adventurous where you'll either love it or not like it. Great review!

I could not have said it better. I agree with you 100% Not my type of read, but what an imagination the author has. Kudos to the author for putting his imagination out in the published world for all to see.

This unique fantasy novel skillfully combines humor with the fantastical. The author's creative prowess shines as they successfully blend whimsy with the expected action and adventure of such tales. Thoral, undoubtedly, stands as a distinctive character. The cover immediately caught my eye, hinting at the abundance of action and mystical creatures within. As a fantasy enthusiast, I'm intrigued to explore "Fish Wielder." Initial impressions suggest an engaging fantasy narrative centered around a barbarian warrior and his tiny fish companion as they venture across Grome in search of the enigmatic Pudding of Power. The story almost appears to satirize the fantasy genre, a style I particularly enjoy. This promising book, combining action and comedy, has definitely piqued my interest, and I'm excited to uncover the mysteries of "The Fellowship of the Pudding.

The review of "Fish Wielder" resonates with my own sentiments about the book. The term "farctasy" aptly captures its unique blend of humor and fantasy, setting it apart from conventional reads. Thoral Mighty Fist's unconventional character, from his towering stature to his talking fish companion, Brad, adds a delightful twist to the narrative. The reviewer's observation of the book's balanced approach between action and comedy is spot-on, defying the potential pitfalls of excessive farce. I concur that Hardison's writing quality remains intact despite the whimsical tone, making it a highly engaging read. The seamless amalgamation of action and humor, epitomized by the "Fellowship of the Pudding," reflects the author's ingenuity.
Sincerely,
Sondang :tiphat:

This book seems to poke fun at its own genre in an amusing, charming, and clever way. I really enjoyed the absurdity set up right at the beginning of this book, and I found Thoral the barbarian to be entirely lovable. Hardison's presentation of fantasy is refreshing. Thanks for an intriguing review!

“Fish Wielder” by J.R.R.R. (Jim) Hardison is a unique take on fantasies and some may consider it a farce. The story follows Thoral Mighty Fist on his travels through the world of Grome. Thoral is a barbarian that dresses like a pirate and has a strange foreign accent. Thoral also wears a leather belts that has many pouches that contain interesting items and he also carries a magic sword. His traveling companion who rides in one of his pouches. Surprisingly the companion is a fish named Brad that talks and breathes air. Thoral battles the Bad Religion and the Dark Brotherhood while traversing through the land. While he faces death on numerous occasions, his mighty fists and a good bit of luck keep him alive to quest for thee lost Pudding of Power. A very entertaining book with a good review. A good fantasy to read.

Thoral Mighty Fist seems like a great warrior. With that kind of luck, it's not surprising he's able to survive. I'm very curious to read about the magical fish, brad. It's unusual for a fish to breath air. I guess I'll find out after reading this promising book.
