It’s interesting that this book combines Christian faith and sci-fi. That’s a unique mix of genres that I’m curious to sample.

This sounds like an interesting story. With our current pandemic, this may serve as a good reminder to love and care for one another.

We are still going through the pandemic and I think this book would be one to read during this time. I love how the fantasy scenes seem to be placed in real cities. That is creative!

The idea of the book sounds interesting with the fate wrapped up with a virus. I am curious about the Creator and how much biblical references are made. Sounds like a real page turner and can't wait to read.

Very interesting review, it really makes me want to read a book that is not my genre. I loved the honesty of the reviewer! A dystopia is useful to read when reality means autumn rains...

I rarely read dystopian but this might be the next book of the kind that I pick up. I usually like this genre in Autumn. Thank you for your review!

Oh dear! I hope you are not implying relatable only to U.S. citizens because of locations in that country because the themes in the book are universal. There’s a vengeful creator, a coronavirus-like pandemic and a Christian message to love your neighbour. You’re right about the title. I do find it intriguing. Why plume of fire and not feathers, grass, or any of the other more conventional references?

A futuristic novel sounds interesting. The review is intriguing and I wonder what happened to Ricky and Sarah later. Thanks for the review, it was well written

I love this dystopian fantasy novel. I appreciate the book as well because it is also centered on science fiction. But the whole virus pandemic thing. Its becoming monotonous. But congrats on being BOTD.

The creator wants to destroy earth due to the evil deeds of the people. Would Rick and Sarah be able to save the earth? Would they even be able to save themselves? Thanks for the great review.

Not going to lie, I wasn't impressed when I first starting reading this but by the end, I have been convinced to read it myself. It checks all the boxes for a great book: non stop action, colorful descriptions, and mystery to keep you wanting more. I can't wait to pick this one up.

Sounds like this short book is packed with a lot of different concepts. I like the dystopian take on the pandemic and look forward to reading it. Great review!
