Definitely not my cup of tea and not just because fantasy isn't the genre I enjoy, but mostly because after reading the description, the story sounds quite adolescent to me. Blame my age and take no offense, since I know my daughter will gladly read it once I recommend a new book of her beloved genre.

'The Hermit Gryphon follows Tal’s journey to redeem herself by oppressing the other gryphons. The character's development was exceptional.'
I'll like to read about Tal's purposeful journey in this book.

*The Hermit Gryphon* is a captivating tale of redemption and character growth centred on Talona, a former tyrant turned outcast. After losing her power, Tal embarks on a journey to redeem herself, accompanied by Griper, a fellow misfit. Together, they face trials and tribulations at Forest Lake, with Tal's arrogance leading to some rather humorous predicaments along the way.

The story excels in its vivid details and exceptional character development, making Tal’s transformation both compelling and relatable. The themes of acceptance, trust, and forgiveness are beautifully woven into the narrative.

Whether you’re a seasoned fantasy reader or just dipping your toes into the genre, The Hermit Gryphon will sweep you off your feet. And don’t worry—no need to brush up on the prequel; this gem stands proudly on its own. Its clean content and universal appeal make it a magical read for all ages.

This appears to be a complex fantasy story based on the characters, however, the author has included sufficient preamble to set the scene for the story with a prologue, background note, and initial poem. I do appreciate the illustrations.

There's a lot going on in this book that's way too confusing for me. Tal's story seems complicated but may be well received by fans of science fiction. I hope they find out if she was really telling the truth about Deathgrip.

The plotline has a lot going on, so I am not sure if I would be able to follow along well. Not only this, but this book appears to be a sequel. As such, I will pass on it for now. However, using gryphons and a strong female lead are appealing. Thanks for the review!

The Hermit Gryphon by Paula Grover is a fantasy novel about Talona, a former wicked queen, seeking redemption and facing new threats with the help of a gargoyle named Gripe Piper. 🦅✨

This sounds like there is a lot going on, not necessarily negative. Because I do not know what each term means in this book, I am wondering if that is why I feel there seems to be so much going on. However, I am going to read the sample as I am very intrigued by the fantasy of the novel. I love new and unique writings so I could use a fresh read.

'Official Review: The Hermit Gryphon' by Paula Grover equips with the knowledge of the plot of the fantasy story. It recounts the main points of the book. The protagonist's journey for healing shows a steady transformation from an angry outcast. Readers would find character growth in the story. Also, as mentioned in the review, the book focuses on acceptance, trust, and forgiveness. It was nice to learn that the illustrations in the book were breathtaking in their details!

This fantasy story with Tal as the protagonist is the perfect story for young adults. I know that Tal's journey of redemption was not an easy one. This is truly an interesting read and a great recommendation.

I'm not much into fantasy, but young readers usually are, and showing them that one can grow away from anger seems life-changing.
Thank you.❤

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting fantasy story following Tal, who rebels against her father and mother, the king and queen, and flees the kingdom. In her travels, she rescues a long gryphon who accompanies her on her journey. The journey will not be easy however. Will she make it? It might be worth a second look. Well done.
