This appears to be a complex fantasy story based on the characters, however, the author has included sufficient preamble to set the scene for the story with a prologue, background note, and initial poem. I do appreciate the illustrations.

There's a lot going on in this book that's way too confusing for me. Tal's story seems complicated but may be well received by fans of science fiction. I hope they find out if she was really telling the truth about Deathgrip.

The plotline has a lot going on, so I am not sure if I would be able to follow along well. Not only this, but this book appears to be a sequel. As such, I will pass on it for now. However, using gryphons and a strong female lead are appealing. Thanks for the review!

The Hermit Gryphon by Paula Grover is a fantasy novel about Talona, a former wicked queen, seeking redemption and facing new threats with the help of a gargoyle named Gripe Piper. 🦅✨

This sounds like there is a lot going on, not necessarily negative. Because I do not know what each term means in this book, I am wondering if that is why I feel there seems to be so much going on. However, I am going to read the sample as I am very intrigued by the fantasy of the novel. I love new and unique writings so I could use a fresh read.

The Hermit Gryphon offers an intriguing viewpoint by examining character growth from the viewpoint of a former villain. Talona's journey towards atonement provides a novel narrative twist. Paula Grover's world comes to life in this book because of its vivid drawings and wealth of details. Its flawless 5-star rating is a testament to its well-balanced narrative, which appeals to readers of all ages.

'Official Review: The Hermit Gryphon' by Paula Grover equips with the knowledge of the plot of the fantasy story. It recounts the main points of the book. The protagonist's journey for healing shows a steady transformation from an angry outcast. Readers would find character growth in the story. Also, as mentioned in the review, the book focuses on acceptance, trust, and forgiveness. It was nice to learn that the illustrations in the book were breathtaking in their details!

This fantasy story with Tal as the protagonist is the perfect story for young adults. I know that Tal's journey of redemption was not an easy one. This is truly an interesting read and a great recommendation.

I'm not much into fantasy, but young readers usually are, and showing them that one can grow away from anger seems life-changing.
Thank you.❤

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting fantasy story following Tal, who rebels against her father and mother, the king and queen, and flees the kingdom. In her travels, she rescues a long gryphon who accompanies her on her journey. The journey will not be easy however. Will she make it? It might be worth a second look. Well done.

An exciting tale of a gryphon who learns to be good again. Sounds original and appealing. The character development seems pretty good too. There is a lot going on in this book. And the illustrations are breathtaking in their details. With no profanity and explicit scenes, it is suitable for all ages. Thank you for your detailed analysis. Excellent review.

Great review! I am not a fan of sci-fi/fantasy, but I am glad that you enjoyed this book. It sounds like this book is a good one for lovers of that genre.

It seems to be a story of redemption and internal conflict. Talona, now known as Tal, finds herself caught between her dark past and her desire for healing. Despite having lost her political power, she continues to be hated by her people, which adds a strong emotional component to her journey. Light Healer's suggestion to seek out Snow Wing for guidance shows that there is a path to possible redemption, though Tal resists, even rebelling against his family. This story promises to be a deep exploration of themes such as guilt, redemption, and internal struggle, all within a rich fantasy world.
