This sounds like an epic mystery thriller. Which is my favourite genre out there. The plot and concept looks interesting as well. Great review ☺️

This fourth instalment in the “DEADLY ODDS” cyber-thriller series sounds like an enjoyable read. I like it that the "tension was maintained throughout the book". However, I'm not a fan of this genre. Otherwise, congrats on the BOTD!

A nail biting cyber thriller with enough twists to keep the reader on the edge. I'm intrigued. The best part is that this is the fourth book in the series yet, it can be read as a standalone. Thank you for a compelling review.

Now, this is my kinda read. You know, those narrations that make you shout to the protagonist not to follow the course of action they are contemplating, but you know they have to do it for the plot's sake. Sounds thrilling indeed. Thanks for the recommendation and congrats to the author for the BOTD honours.

A nail-biting cyber-thriller "Deadly Odds 4.0" by Allen Wyler, which focuses on a self-proclaimed geek, Arnold Gold, who is hired to counter a ransomware attack for a law firm. The story appears quite thrilling to me.

After reading the official review, which I thought really gave you a brilliant view of what the book & characters were like, I downloaded the sample to read.

Cyber-thrillers are not usually what I would read but the sample did indeed get me engrossed, I like the reviewer hadn’t read the previous books but didn’t feel that was detrimental to my enjoyment ( although if when I’ve downloaded & finished the rest I’ve enjoyed it as much as the rest I shall read them & play catch up)

I liked Gold’s character instantly the way he tried to keep himself grounded. His suspicion of the job was I assume correct, it sounded dodgy to me.

Can’t wait to read the rest

This book isn’t quite my style, but it does seem to particularly suit the age we live in. The computer-age is constantly dealing with cyber-threats. Thanks for a great review, I enjoyed it!

It is often hard to retain tension through out the novel. I see the author has succeed to do so. I would read this one.

I love the book cover, as well as the plot. It seems pretty simple but still intriguing. If this was the fourth installment, I'd love to see how the first three went.

Cyber -thrillers are an amazing genre that I am very fond of, they are always packed with twists and turns in the story just like in real life no one can predict exactly what's gonna happen next or in the future, which looks like a great read.

Deadly Odds 4.0 by Allen Wyler is the nail-biting fourth instalment in the “DEADLY ODDS” cyber-thriller series. Arnold Gold, a self-proclaimed geek, is hired to solve a ransomware invasion for a law firm in Seattle. The job offer is shrouded in secrecy and an element of malfeasance. Gold aspires to expand his one-man company in order to be able to work in both Honolulu, where he resides with his girlfriend, and his hometown of Seattle. This causes him to feel slightly inclined to pursue the job offer despite his apprehension and concern.

Gold initially feels hesitant to accept the job offer and his reluctance is only amplified once he meets the firm members in person. Despite being described as too trusting, he still feels an element of unease hanging over him as he uncovers more information about the ransomware attack. This gut-feeling of unease only amplifies as the story progresses. One gets the sense that a framing and a cover-up are underway as more of the characters begin acting suspiciously when more information is uncovered.

This sample makes me wish I had read the first three installments of the series. It starts out with intrigue and is fast moving. Is this legal firm legit or are they willing to commit crimes to resolve the ransomware attack. I would like to read the entire book and then go back and read the first three. Good official review.
