I'm a bit curious to find out who Abby is in this story and, since I already have this book, thanks to this review I might read it on a cozy Sunday.
I appreciate your comment.

This seems like an entertaining book, I love that it's got a historical aspect that most suspense novels don't have. The first few chapters were engaging, definitely encouraged a sense of whodunit that I enjoy. The main character Abby seems likeable, I think this will be a fun read sometime soon!

Meeting Adolf is a big deal and involving your life unexpectedly in the midst of all these is seriously a suicide mission. Thank you for pointing that out!

Despite what Abby and her friends passed through, starting from high school, they were courageous in facing life. I love the historical character portrayed by Abbey. Also, the fact that the story line was plotted around historical event made it intriguing and informative. Great review!

Vickie Noel wrote: 26 Jan 2019, 10:39 This book seems to be a perfect blend of different historical events in one big mash-up-- I love it! As a historical fiction nut, I can't wait to see how all these stories are interwoven together to produce a full-circle ending. I've already caught the excitement bug (albeit downright terrifying) Abby and friends must have experienced during their various life-threatening encounters. Thanks for this awesome review.
Thanks for your comment, Vickie.

This sounds like a very exciting book. I like how the author included historical figures such as Al Capone and Adolf Hitler in the story. I like books that have strong characterization and Abby White is clearly a very well-written character. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer for an excellent review.

A bunch of college students are witnesses in a Mafia crime. This book shows how their lives are connected after many years and across continents. Not my cup of tea though.
