Frank Merriwell series by Burt Standish

Post by almhere »

There are several books in the Frank Merriwell series, such as "Frank Merriwell's School Days," and "Frank Merriwell's Chums." "Frank Merriwell's Bravery" describes the adventures of Frank, his tutor, and his friend as they travel the West. Frank's father died, leaving money for Frank to travel the world. Frank is mistaken for a wanted bandit and must use his wits to save himself and the girl. Frank and his friend take an airship ride with a mad inventor and discover the hideout of a group of fugitives from the law. Frank wins the admiration of a mountain man as he works to save a lost little girl in the Yellowstone Park wilds. And a chance encounter on a train leads Frank on a hunt for counterfeiters in the mountains around Lake Tahoe. Enjoy Frank's honest and brave demeanor as you explore the Old West with him. It is a great book for boys!
