Warren Thomas Brown’s "Memoir" offers a gripping look at life in rural Queensland—from early settlement to the rise of the Mount Isa mining industry—blending personal stories, corruption in civil service, and poetic reflections on resilience. A must-read for history lovers. Congratulations on being BOTD!

Memoir by Warren Thomas Brown is a great book, as it discusses the complexities that come with business. I would also like to learn about the author’s struggles in Australia.

The story is about the author's life in rural Queensland and, from the book's description on Amazon, "covers the sloth, incompetence, and pure evil of the civil service and their interaction with private business." Congrats on BOTD!
