Manning describes how he met Mary Ann, which eventually led to their marriage. Readers travel with the Manning family through their ups and downs. A devastating cancer diagnosis shocks the readers. The couple’s love story and their difficulties raising a family are relatable to readers in many ways. On the whole, this is a heartwarming novel.

Thank you for the glowing and thorough review of the non-fiction book, "Last Dance" by Stephen Manning. The sub title is, “and a Loving Mother. The story was written by a grieving husband and is dedicated to his wife who succumbed to cancer. The story is full of love for family and especially for the wife and mother named Mary Anne. The book tells the story of the family through all stages. It is especially endearing because the lovely mom fought so bravely against the breast cancer that took her life just 72 hours after she was able to dance at her son’s wedding.
If you're going through hell, keep going.

The author’s ability to convey his unwavering love for his wife, despite the trials they faced, makes this book a poignant exploration of love, loss, and resilience. Nice review.

To find a soulmate with whom to share and celebrate the journey of life is truly a blessing and the author was blessed in his life to have found a partner like Mary Ann. Through difficult moments with his wife's illness, his love never wavered. I would, however, pass on the book due to ptsd of losing someone to this illness. Thanks for a wonderful review!

I like the selfless tone with which the author broaches the subject of his late wife Mary Ann. In this era of infatuation and short marriages I am awed to read a story of about a true and enduring love written from the perspective of a man. Thanks for the review.
