Today's book deals with a topic that's seriously beyond my understanding. So I'll be skipping the book. However judging by the review, the concept and what the author has to say could be useful to other readers who are interested in the topic.

This book sounds interesting as I gave also studied this subject from a military organizational perspective, particularly for ultra specialized functions such as special forces selection and motivation. Remuneration and other benefits definitely are not always motivational possibilities. I do know that often, more can be gleaned about an organization from the smoking area and the tea room than from most surveys. This book does sound interesting to read. I enjoyed the review as it is also written from a professional perspective.

This is an age old arguement that how organizations should be perspective towards their employees. I was initially interested in what author had to say, however I felt that the book is meant for a targeted audience. I dont think it will interest readers like me who prefer to read fictions. My extent of delving into non fictions is autobiographies or memoirs. So definately giving this one a pass. Thank you for your review.

Quite a unique perspective to envision such a controversial yet vital issue that's affecting the common man at his place of work. A good read. I look forward to reading it.

I think there needs to be a balance between organizational engagement and employee engagement. Dr. Bohn's emphasis on "we" instead of "me" is valid, at the same time, employees do need to have some incentive to be more productive. While the author's outlook seems interesting, I don't think I'll be reading the book, as I'm not a fan of the non-fiction genre, but I hope it turns out to be insightful for the people who read it. Thank you for the review!

This book's title seems very appealing. The book speaks of how to raise the happiness of employers in some not-so-common ways. It's not something that interests me, however.

The title of the book made me smile. I can understand why the author believes organizational engagement is more important that (individual) employee engagement. The book seems to be well organized, and I imagine this would be useful to company owners, executive, management and H.R. It is unfortunate if there is a lot of repetitiveness in some topics.

The title on its own is unique. I can see the point of having organizations think about the “we” instead of “me” as you said in this review. This book has some interesting points.

This organizational engagement that this author talks about seems to be revolutionary concept when implemented according. Though I find the general idea to be straightforward, it would require good managers to implement. Thank you for your informative review.

This is definitely an interesting book,  as it contains relatable information on organisation's culture. I like how Dr. Jim Bohn suggests that asking about the happiness of the individual employee is the wrong assessment. Also, I'm impressed by the uniqueness of the author writing style.  Surely, I'm going to read this one.

From the thorough review it is evident that the book is more than informative. I also agree on the part of striving to make employees happy as unhappy employees do much harm than good in their workplaces.
