Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

This book did not just meet my expectations, it surpassed it. I was not just in love with this memoir, but also the captivating way the author wrote it. It was indeed worth reading.

Yeah sure, apart from the title being far from what is in the book, I feel like the author hit the nail on the head. I have a dream of being an American one day, and this has come at the right time.

Yes, it did. Monica’s honesty and strength really came through. I expected a personal story, and she delivered that with depth and emotion. Her journey felt real, and I appreciated how she shared her truth without holding back.

I have learned to approach things with little expectations to give everything and everyone the benefit of the doubt. It was a good read.
