Heartaches 2, by H. M. Irwing, is the second novel in the Bad Boy Vibes series. It's a tale of love and vengeance. In the past, out of deceit and betrayal, Rafe lost his mother, and this ordeal compelled him to join the army. Afterward, he was assigned to Eric Dayton's command in Syria, where he was sexually and psychologically abused by Eric. Anna, who is also from a dysfunctional family, was sold out by her boyfriend, Matt Preston and consequently, she was drugged and gang-raped. Now, Rafe and Anna are in love with each other, and full of hatred for their predators, they seek revenge. In the course of time, Rafe finds out that Anna's arch enemies are his relatives. Will the two lovebirds still stick together?

Set in Australia, this narrative is sizzling and engaging. The plot is simple, fast paced, and suspenseful. Each page leaves a reader wondering what will happen next. Exploring the themes of the outcomes of love, lust, friendship, rage, and vengeance, this novel flows smoothly. Filled with action, there is no dull moment in it. I got stuck the moment I started reading it. Really, it was kind of fun to read. Having a lot of twists and turns, the tale is exciting, fascinating, and believable. It highlights the extent someone, who is in love, can go in order to show his or her affection.

In an impressive manner, the author provided enough details about the characters. All the personae are likable and intriguing, even the villains. The focal characters, Rafe and Anna, are pleasant and levelheaded. Since it's a romance novel, this narration contains some vulgar words and steamy love scenes. Besides, it features homosexuality and bisexuality, and if you're not comfortable with these types of sex practices, this book might put you off.

In addition, I like the author's style of writing. He described the scenes vividly without adding unnecessary detail, and succeeded in weaving thrilling events into a tale of passions. The dialogues are interesting and realistic. Sure enough, the text was well edited since I could only find a couple of errors. This story is a continuation of Heartaches 1, and to know how it ends, I suggest that a reader should go after the next installment in the series.

Overall, the narrative is well written, enthralling, and entertaining. For me, it's a worthwhile read and hence, I rate it 4 out of 4 stars and recommend it for fans of romance and erotic genres.

I have read and written the review of Heartaches 2 by I.M Irwing. Anna Walters-Simmons acts as protagonist character in the story who suffered from cruelty, rapist and remorseless behaviors from her closely linked people. She is passing from a very poor condition full of grief but also trying to come back to its normal position with the desire of vengeance. Raphael Russo Brown, often called Rafe is the boyfriend of Anna and remains with in all of the difficulties suffered by her because all the conditions had also been suffered by him. The erroneous and disturbed mental conditions of both members bring them to a unity and match. Thanks for your great review.
