Keep in mind the beginning of a story doesn't always need to come first. Write the parts you already know will happen, then when you have some substance down figure out how you got there.

This is definitely where I'm having the most difficulty. I start off with these grandiose plots only to become overwhelmed with the fine details. The beginning is the most vital point of the story even if it's not the most enthralling. You lose or keep the reader within the first chapter.Moore wrote:I think every writer when he or she starts a story thinks about the beginning. It can very difficult to start it.
