Seems to be an interesting book covering aspects of abortion, IVF, and other gynecological matters through a fictional story. Would go through the whole book soon.
Thanks for an excellent review.

Captivating and inspiring, "Against the Glass" weaves a tale of determination and friendship that's truly remarkable. The glass imagery adds a unique touch, symbolising life's delicate balance. Candy's journey and her bond with Brenda kept me engaged. A must-read for those intrigued by women's rights and powerful connections.

The review is well-written. The history of females struggling for equality in this patriarchal society with the strong determination of self-identity has been never-ending. As well as their suffering, either as daughters, as wives, or as a mother it goes on continuing until the last breath of life. Still, women are the most beautiful creatures by heart, strong and understanding by nature, and are granted with many beautiful strengths to be discovered. I think the book has put the light over it. It is a beautiful concept. Congrats.

Reading the review made me sympathize with Candy. It sounds like an inspirational tale of grit and determination. Even today, women are fighting a hard battle on every front, I can only imagine the plight during the historical turmoil set in the 1960's. Every time women have proved that they are able to face the challenge and come out victorious. There are also many tales of women perishing at the hands of men during this turmoil, and some unheard and lost in the pages of time. Even though the tale has verbal abuse and abortion at the crux of the story I am hopeful that it ends on a positive note. I hope it inspires women of today to stay determined and men to learn a few things about gender equality. Thank you for this detailed and emotionally touching review.

Great precis of an interesting read. With no spoilers. The blurb in Amazon intrigued me. Enjoyed the sample. Read this great review and want to read the whole book sometime. The heroine goes thorough some real tragedies. Tragedies that do happen yo young women. 4 out of 4 for the review. Well done, for Book of the Day.

This is an interesting historical fiction novel highlighting dreams, depression, an illegal abortion, perseverance, and character growth. The book is temporarily free on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD selection.

Wow! This sounds like such an empowering book. I don't typically enjoy historical fiction, but I'm compelled to read this because of the subject matter. I love self-discovery tropes and a powerful female main character!
