Albright is setup during the period of the California Gold Rush, and it depicts the real events that happened. The story focuses on Henning Dietzel who is a hero in this story, and has elegant character. The book quite appealing.
I couldn't have said it any better. Thank you, sanjus. :tiphat:

maxiphemmax wrote: 19 Jan 2020, 23:36 What an inquisitive driven title. Based on this book review, I like it for being written to depict real life scenarios. And may I put it forth like this, I kind of like the sound o playing chess with God to drinking tea with the devil. Because we all want to be somebody before leaving this mother earth, and after leaving can find a peaceful heavenly abode. :D Thanks for this review.
Thank you, maxiphemmax. I appreciate your post. :tiphat:

The title itself sells the book. I like reading historical fictions and I admire the details put in the review.

Although I'm mostly into creative nonfiction and memoir at present, in the past I have been a big fan of historical fiction. Especially when however farcical the premise, places and events are accurately and freshly portrayed. I do appreciate your take and will keep your recommendation under consideration.

This is not usually the genre that I read, but your review was so well written, I might just have to read it some day.

Every single word in that review is cleared and understanding. everybody just get their own way to talk about historical fiction in the world, but yours is just great.
