Ever get on a" particular " food kick?
1- Mushroom and Barley soup...
2 Barley as a side dish w/fried onions, mushrooms, and peas- ( the way my mother used to make it )
3- anything that usually calls for rice...tomato soup, chicken soup, stuffing, etc...
4 Barley mixed w/oatmeal , lentils, onions, carrots, lima beans, for the best " veggie-burger " i've ever had in my life...
i discovered the " unhulled " type, healthier than the " pearl "
last month it was sweet potatoes, and the month before "pizza on a pita " and tuna melts...
So what's yours ?....

My food kicks can sometimes be caught by the wind and taken in a weird direction.
...There was the sardine spaghetti kick, The sriracha on everything kick, which, let me tell you, does not do any favors for your intestines, and of course... Who can for get the mustard, onion and garlic hot dog incident?
Was my snack of choose for a stretch when I was younger. I Walked around all day, reeking of garlic at school and work. Got so bad one day that the foreman on the job sent me home saying something along the lines of "Hit the shower and stay there till' ya think you're sure I wont be able to smell your stinky butt!"...well he dint say butt lol.
