I was drawn in by the book's cover, but it turns out the contents were kind of different from what I expected. (a mystery or thriller) The story certainly seems interesting, though I'm not sure if I'll get around to reading it.

this book is amazing. moreover, the author raises the story from a religious, political and economic point of view. Although many things are raised in this book, this book is very light to read.

I was into the story initially but when religion and philosophy showed up as major themes, I lost my interest. I tend to stay away from books that has these two genres and this one has it in spades. Congrats on BOTD.

I love your review, it is quite interesting. Books on God tend to bring people closer to him. Thanks to Leah's character for doing just that. Congrats to BOTD!

It is true that a clear message can be misinterpreted by philosophy, logic, and other faucets of life. From the review, Leah is a widower with claims that involves an encounter with God. Most people make claims that might be false, and I would love to read this book to feel how authentic the author made Leah's words to be. Thanks for your review.

Hi, Aktn Powers I hope that this discussion finds you well and safe. First, let me elaborate on how very thorough your review of Mr. Hale's story truly was. You pointed out many of the eye-catching facts in this book without ever really giving away any juicy details well done I must say. I am new to this site but I am in no way new to the review aspect of this job. I have actually downloaded this and got the free subscription to Kindle just because of your review. I would like to give you a bit of information on myself. I am a 38-year-old woman with four children, who really drive me insane but they are my life. I believe in the almighty because my mom raised me, God, first, your children then your man, and in that very order is how I lived my life. I am in no way a very religious woman, I do not attend church because I believe our temple of worship can be anywhere we can be alone with God and talk with him that way. I do however believe in all things paranormal and things that most people would call taboo. I am telling you this because I had lost my faith in God this January because after God told us that he would never do anything to hurt us nor lead us astray he took the very thing besides my children, that made life worth living, my mom. He took her from me and suddenly at that. I was beginning to believe that all those things that I had learned in Sunday school were a lie because he states that he would never give us more than we could handle, and believe me sir I cannot handle that. So, after all of the God bashing and cursing the very one who I gave my heart and soul to when I was just 14, I realized that God is going to take the ones who are most important, the ones who do not deserve to be here during the rapture they deserve to be at his side fighting for the souls for which are his, and that is why he took her beautiful soul up there with him. I finally came back to my senses and got my groove back. I now feel the light and the warmth of the sun on my face again. I am also a psychology major and I find that with your description of this amazing book I am ready to be taken into the world of Mr. Hale and will soon be giving him a review as well. Thanks for the very informative review. Beth

This is a well presented review. The book seems to be an interesting read. A patient coming out of coma is itself a miraculous happening and her experiences cannot be ignored.

This is quite an interesting book. Too bad Leah's message was misinterpreted and mixed with politics. Thank you for the lovely review.

Since I usually prefer light reads, I will pass on this book and the invitation to think about religious, political, economic, and philosophical ideas.

It seems to me that the author has managed to create a very clever book. I experienced a couple of “hmmm”s already while reading this review, so the book would most likely give me more of those. I like challenging books that force me to think, so I might just give this a try. I am curious to see what kind of problems the protagonist experienced while telling her message.

Thank you for the thought-provoking review!

This book sounds pretty interesting. The aspect of the main character's basic message of love and selflessness getting mixed up with philosophy, religion, and politics is intriguing.
