When I first saw the title of the book my first thought is that it will be some cheesy novel about some housewives maltreating their husbands, but thanks to your review, I really want to know what happen in the book, most especially what's so special about the local traitor "Gorgio" and the reason why many wives fell in love with him. Nice work keep it up

This fictional crime story based on a true story is interesting to read. Adding insight that there are criminal cases of insurance crimes like this in Philadelphia. The reviews presented are also interesting. I want to read and congratulations on being a BOTD.

This is a thrilling crime book that was based on a true story. It happens in Philadelphia, when several women conspired with a man named Giorgio to kill their husbands. Congrats on BOTD to the author!

The review does explain it all: a catchy title,"...a large cast of characters...",a great plot ,and a brilliant story. It is a true life story in fiction form, very fascinating and intriguingly absorbing! Justice, euphemism and satire arrested my eyes as I went through the review. Great job!

The Philadelphia setting, the 1930s backdrop, and the cutthroat tale itself come together in what is sure to be a great historical fiction read!

Normally, I don't like historical fiction books, but this one sounds focused on the characters. I am curious to see how the stories play out in the crime to trial scenarios. Good review.

When I first saw the title and that it was historical fiction, I thought witches and maybe even Salem. It was surprising to find out the real details of the story. Nonetheless, it sounds captivating.

Wicked Wives brilliantly portrays the intriguing characters of murdering wives and their motives behind the murders. Set in 1930 and with the backdrop of Philadelphia makes it a thrilling historical fiction.

The plot properly captures the behavior of some wives towards their husbands. It is not a lie that there is a possibility that such things can happen. Thanks for the review

Thanks for the great review. What a mess and those horrible women. And people always think that people now are worse than they ever had been! It is true that fact is stranger than fiction, though this is a fictional story based on fact. From the sample, I did like how the author explained each character well. I'm sure many will enjoy this book.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting historical fiction set in Philadelphia in the 1930s focusing on a group of housewives that conspire with a local tailor to murder their husbands for the insurance money. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I'm yet to understand the relationship between the tailor that helped the women in the murder and the wicked wives. How was he able to do it? Nice review though.
