The Wicked Housewives is an eye opener that sometimes most people are in a relationship for what they could get from it. They are willing to sacrifice their partners for money and politics.
According to the author the case was a conspiracy that had a third party - a tailor named , Giorgio DiSipio who helped the women to kill their husbands for some insurance money. Thank you for the review. It teaches a good lesson even as the book reveals age long prejudice against blacks, Jews and other racial minorities in Philadelphia.

The fictional story is based on true events. Housewives murdered their husbands for the money but also because they had other problems which would be solved by the deaths. The guy assisting them and sharing in the spoils must have been very cruel and unfeeling. Thank you for the great review.

A group of Philadelphia housewives conspire with the local tailor to murder their husbands with the common motive of insurance money. Their other motives are unveiled later on as the story progresses. I like that the characters have their own backstories. That was a great review.
