I do, however, listen to the same genre (sometimes the same group/singer) for weeks at a go. And it seems to depend on the weather...somehow Spring is zydeco time.

Are music genre tastes linked to the weather, or do they have something to do with the stars ? Wouldn't it be great if it were,.....old grannies listening to punk rock in the summer, grunge in winter and Neil Diamond in spring, great.Tralala wrote:To me, that'd be like eating only chocolate. It'd start out great, but I'd end up loathing the very idea of a Hershey bar.

Could be...but punk definitely says "winter" to me!

Neil Diamond ALL THE TIME. "No one heard at all, not even the chair" is timeless!

Ryan Adams, Tom Waits, some Arlo Guthrie, Joni Mitchell, Fiona Apple (Tidal, anyway), Phil Ochs, Ramblin' Jack...y'know, folksie kindsa stuffs.
I've no idea why I associate different seasons with certain types of music...probably some weird psychological experiment my parents started when I was a kid.

I'm sure we could squeeze Edith Piaf in there along with John Miles

Don't worry about it, Ant. I think you'd have to live in my head to understand what's going on in there...and it's crowded enough already!Ant wrote:Confused, are we still on autumn music.

Edith Piaf, yes! Not familiar with John Miles, though....now I'm curious.
