Hanna Lee - Poetry For The Romantic Heart

Post by Shing Araya »

It's in the calmness of June,
when love was mine to own.
in her presence I was blown.

She had thoughts; the peculiar type,
thoughts which shaped her in more than just black & white.

This ravishing damsel known by many as Hannah Lee.
She was dreaming -- dreaming to be free.
In her dreams, my hands she'd take,
Every touch, I'd surely deeply keep.
In fact, I never wanted to wake.

But June changes to November;
November that I'll always remember.
For heartache it brought right after.

The calmness, the dreams, and the tenderness disappeared.
It was just me & my wickedness.
For Hannah Lee went to some other place.

Horror replaced; darkness dimmed her ravishing face.
Chaos instead; bemusing the vividness of her dreams.

It's in the bewilderment of June,
when sorrows was mine to own.
without her presence I wasn't strong.
