This is the first time I have heard of the Theory of Masterful Effortless. I would really want to know more. The title hints at philosophy, which is among my favorite genres. I also see a perfect rating on OBC, so congratulations to the author.

You had me hooked from the moment you mentioned "a combination of fiction and non-fiction"—what an intriguing premise! Your introduction sets the stage perfectly.
I also appreciate and resonate with your perspective on harboring pessimistic views. As you rightly pointed out, believing in one's inevitable failure can lead to behaviors that reinforce that belief, ultimately hindering progress and success.

The goal of the author's work is for readers to comprehend the five laws of Effortless Theory and assist others in putting them into practice. This review gives a clear and detailed description of the book. The concept piques my interest.

This book is intriguing. To have a life of success and abundance while living a life without effort seems impossible to me. There must be a catch somewhere. Maybe by freeing up the mind one will find that what used to be difficult and tedious has become effortless. I will have to read the book to find out. I will enjoy the fables. :techie-studyinggray:

As a child I would read Aesop's fables all the time. I had a good collection of them. I was put off initially by the forward and the talk of God and creation but the author left a note stating that they would use Universe for the rest of the book which I find very refreshing as Universe is my preferred term also when speaking about creation and life before human existence. I also very much enjoy the doodles with the story I am a very visual person so to see things the way the author is seeing them is grand and I would love to complete this book for my 2024 Goodreads challenge.

An excellent well-written review from Christell Lindeque, thank you. It appears from the Amazon sample that "Philosophy From the Mud' by Erik Quisling, blends fiction with nonfiction and explores the theory of Masterful Effortless. It is a book well worth immersing oneself in and I intend to do exactly that. Congrats on #BOTD.

I don’t think that I completely understand “Effortless Theory.” It sounds a lot like doing nothing and just letting things happen to you. That can’t be it, can it? Congratulations on BOTD!

To put it simply, the goal of this book is to help you live an abundant and carefree life. Among the five principles he lists are the following: you have the power to co-create your life; the universe is judgement-free and gives you what you want in the here and now; abundance knows no bounds; and the universe honours bravery.
- Sounds Intrigueing. I'm curious to know more. This is a wonderful review. Thank you.
