I had always had interest on medical book. The spirit of want is an intriguing book that dealt with human relationship. The author really captivated the readers especially with the dramatical suspense and complexcity. Thanks for the review.

In human existence history, we are made of spirit filled of different desires towards want, this is experience and understood in the life of Lucy, but it is good to give heed to contentment to depress humans risk of want towards desires .

Complex, thoughtful review, thank you. Not sure I am interested in all of the intrigue indicated here at present, but the fact that you found very few errors and an in-depth plot is encouraging. Maybe at some point, I will be up for this type of story again and your review gives me the information I need to consider this book.

I’m intrigued instantly when I’m introduced to the ballroom scene which is rather overwhelming until we meet Luke, who seems to stick out like a sore thumb. His character is portrayed perfectly as he contrasts majorly to the other folk who are busy in their own world of wealth. Then as the beautiful Lucy is introduced, I can immediately see the differences between her and Luke though the author also creates an unexplainable connection between the two characters as they are brought together due to unforeseen circumstances.

The fluency in the writing keeps me hooked till the very end because I’m constantly wanting to know what’s going to happen as pieces of the characters’ personalities are developed. More specifically how Lucy’s anger at her parents not accepting identity which portrays the inequality in our society really well and yet Luke will seem to accept her unlike her parents.

In my opinion, it’s a story that is definitely worth a read, espiecally on a Saturday evening with a cup of tea. It’s beautiful, unique and revelling.

I've read Coles' work before. I love the way he writes and I can see that this book is not an exemption. I see that he loves to write about medical situations and doctors, as he is a doctor himself. I can also tell that he prefers to write about religious people (not always faithful). The plot of this book got me intrigued and I can't wait to read it. Thank you very much for your review.

This sounds like a fascinating book dealing with complex human interactions from marriage to religion. It sounds very entertaining as well as somewhat informative as the author has obviously researched all the issues concerned here, thoroughly. A comprehensive review that made me possibly like a book that I would normally not be interested in reading.

I am curious about the upsetting things that happen to children in this book. I was able to read the free sample pages and I liked the story. It was intriguing though Lucy seemed to be a very difficult person to deal with. I never go to know what they hit and what happened next but I will read this once an opportunity presents itself. Thanks for your enlightening review.

Very true. The interweaving of the various themes is intriguing. The most appealing thing is that the author did an extensive research on these themes before writing the book. This makes this book educational as well.

Great review! I'm not sure if this book is my cup of tea, but I'm glad you enjoyed it. The fact that the author took time into building such complex relationships is something really cool to see.

This is another review with an inappropriate rating. A book should not be rated as perfect if it is not perfect and the reviewer said the editing was not perfect. I found what the reviewer had to say about the book to be boring and hard to focus on, also.

I am familiar with the author's style of writing and like how he throws his characters into this interesting moral issues. I would love to read this book too. :techie-studyingbrown: This is a good review of the book. :tiphat:

This is the kind of science fiction which interests me a lot. The author's stories usually contain themes which deal with medicine and surgery. These themes are also easy for me to read and understand.
