I believe Jesus exists. There are many things that prove it. The people that thinks Jesus does not exist, will believe some day. Life drives us to believe soon or later.

I recently read and reviewed a book called Misreading Judas, about the Gnostic Gospel of Judas. It wasn't intending to prove Jesus' nonexistence. The theory was that Jesus was but one in a series of great masters of that time, that Judas was never a betrayer of Jesus but rather succeeded Jesus as master. I really enjoyed it and was impressed by the original research. I suspect I would really enjoy Deciphering the Gospels. I do believe Jesus existed, but I am also interested in other possibilities. I usually don't mind reading things that contradict my beliefs, but this one might be a bit much for me.

I am pretty sure Jesus did exist. However religion is very confusing. I will pass for now.

Curious as to how he would weigh in on the Pliny writings but still not interested enough to read it through.

Unfortunately, my interest in these types of debates are limited to merely acknowledging that there are people with different perspectives. I won't read this book simply because it doesn't interest me that much. Your review, however, was well-done and very much appreciated.

I would contest that Jesus did and does exist. There are extra biblical accounts that can prove that. However, I am interested in seeing how the author thinks he can back up his claim. Thanks for your review.

The extra-biblical accounts are increasing being proven to be dubious.
