Thank you for your review! I love that the plot is unique and that it has a lot of twists. I always seem to be able to guess what will happen next, or maybe a lot of books are filled with cliches. But this book sounds like it will keep me guessing wrong! It's great that the characters are also well-developed. That's the one thing I always ask for in books. I feel like I already like Rachel and Glen. Who doesn't love reading humorous verbal exchanges in books?

The review certainly does justice to a book that appears to be very interesting and absorbing to read. I am a fan of SF as well as space travel in particular so this book will definitely interest me. The characters also sound well thought out and richly developed.

The book seemed interesting; the book cover hints a horror/suspense theme. I just find the facial expression of the woman on the cover lacking in depth and looked out of place. The emotion displayed incongruent with the rest of the cover design.

Science fiction isn't really my go-to genre but the plot seems interesting. Good editing is also a plus for me. Nice review.

Thanks for the thorough review. I love reading books that contain well developed character sand witty conversations. I would usually pass on a space related plot, but your review has peaked my interest and I plan to add this book to my list.

Based on the review, this book sounds like it's worth a read. The plot seems to be unique with some twists and turns. Interested to see how the moon base is described.

Thank you for the interesting review. A secret mission to the moon, an unexpected character that could threaten it all and a variety of locations from California, to Mexico to the moon itself. Danger, suspense, mystery all of these are elements I love to find in my books. I'm a bit curious about this story so I'm going to read a few pages. I'm hopeful that it is interesting because right now it feels a bit flat.

Not usually a sci-fi fan, but this one sounds mysterious, too. I might read it.

The title of the book is captivating. I wonder how the plot is structured and how will the turn of events affects the character. Congrats for being Book of the Day. Thanks for this review.

Thanks for your review! I'm curious to learn about this mysterious base established on the Moon. I also would like to learn more about this third player that puts Rachel's life in danger. I like that Rachel is an astronaut; women are very rarely portrayed as being astronauts or similar STEM or physically demanding professions.

Space remains the future of human and technological advancement, sitting beside digital and Internet technology. It is entrenched in pop culture - movies, books and television documentaries. Into this rich genre comes The Devil's Astronaut by Noah Bond. Decades after the first moon landing by NASA, the moon remains a mystery and The Devil's Astronaut weaves its own story about that awesome moment in history - with the legends and conspiracy theories around the moon landing and NASA's Apollo project as the backdrop. I'm curious to find out what this science and historical fiction is all about. Mr. Bond may have hit a home run with this one, combining space adventure, drama and mystery. Momlovesbooks says "The plot was unique and had enough twists and turns to keep me thoroughly engaged." Newness and surprise comprise the ultimate prize in space adventure and sci-fi. Let's dig in, shall we?

The idea of uncovering a secret mission doesn’t actually sound that far-fetched. Thanks for your review, it made me very interested in this one.
