Passionate? Weren't they still doubting their allegiance to each other up to the very end of the book? I'm just not convinced of the whole star crossed lovers thing.strawberrysab wrote: ↑04 Sep 2018, 06:14 Sucker for romance as I am, I loved Catrin and Marcellus and their passionate love.

I was also confused by this sudden turn in Rhiannon's attitude. I could have understood her favoring the opinions of the older two daughters over Catrin's, but her suspicion of Agrona seemed to inexplicably wane during the course of the story.Emi_Review wrote: ↑02 Sep 2018, 08:48 I also didn't like Rihannon's disregard towards her daughter and the decisions she made. Why would she suddenly believe Agrona over her own daughter when she never trusted Agrona in the first place? When she was spying on Catrin and Marcellus, wouldn't she have been aware that Catrin was warming up to Marcellus before she was given the Apollo amulet?

You and me both. Rhiannon drove me nuts, especially because she had flaunted the very rules she tried to enforce with her daughter. Also her insistence on repeatedly listening to every person in the wrong over and over was frustrating. As much as she claimed to love her daughter, she listened to everyone but her at almost every instance.
