Yes, I'm surprised she set this on their honeymoon. However, I also understand police detectives have a difficult time turning off the "detective" during their off time. Thank you for your review. This seems like a book I would enjoy reading.

The title of the book sounds intriguing and it's the first thing I saw; usually the picture attract my attention first. I like mystery novels and its combination with supernatural elements is a double treat. Communication with spirits with the help of glasses created by a voodoo priestess, using the help of those spirits to solve a cold case must be interesting to read about. I sampled the book on Amazon. It is the fourth book of the series. It is a page-turner. Miller, the lead character is on honeymoon on a mysterious Island. Fate has some unexpected events for him. A thriller with paranormal instances which will delight you.Cheers

This sounds like a casual thriller with some supernatural elements thrown in. Reading the review I would expect this novella to be found in a popular magazine for young adults. It is short, being a novella and sounds fun. I would probably enjoy it as a casual read for a change to my normal reading habits. Somehow the review made me think of detective stories that I had read as a teenager and I did not find this off-putting. The book sounds like a bit of light fiction to be enjoyed if one needs to pass an hour or two.

Voodoo and spirits are not desirable elements in my reading. I'm still in disbelief that anyone would choose to go to Island of the Dead for their honeymoon. Nevertheless, I'm sure there is an audience who would appreciate this short mystery.

The name of the place named as island of dead as mentioned in this book appears bit depressive and it seems to show its effect after a while when protagonist Miller intervenes in a fight sounds quite intriguing.
