Upon reading the sample, I loved this book. I hope Gina ends up ok, and she doesn't get stuck with this dude in a bad situation like it feels like to me. This has trafficking vibe all over it.

This sounds like a good girl falling for a bad boy type of story which I really like to read. I hope that it is as good as the review makes it sound.

Compelling review! I love a book that keeps you on the edge of your seat. If the whole book is as good as the sample, this sounds like a story I’d enjoy.

The book cover is attractive; the plot is intriguing and the characters interesting. I feel that this novel could be adapted to a movie. I am very curious to know what happened to the three characters!

Great review. I am glad you liked it. A crime thriller novel centered around love, friendship and inner strength seems enticing. I'll add this one to my list. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for mentioning that the book is not properly classified as a mystery. In combination with the focus on drug trafficking, I don't think is the book for me.

You wrote a great review detailing the good points of the book. The character development was so good that you were able to care and have emotions about them. The book had plenty of action and suspense that kept you reading. I find it hard not to want to read the book after your review.

Thanks for your review.

From the sample I read, I wasn't as mesmerized by Miguel as Gina is. I usually go for the mystery aspect and since that is absent, I will pass on this one.

An artist on her last dime, the story can go in any which direction. How exciting to meet a handsome guy, be invited to a prestige party, and make some money to get her by until she sells more of her paintings. I see other readers comment about characters not answering their phones. Curious to see what that’s all about. All around, great review.

A struggling artist meets the handsome mercenary and cocaine supplier? Hopefully, Agent Gracia can stop Miguel! It's great to hear that the characters were done well and that they caused a whirlwind of emotions for you. Also, I like that the author did a lot of research and interviewed people to create this story. It shows dedication and good storytelling. I love to hear when books are well-edited, and I'm glad this was the case here. Too bad about the defense attorney representing his son seemed unethical and that people never seemed to answer their phone. However, I'm glad that you were able to enjoy this read regardless! Thank you for sharing!

Sounds like a really fun, thought out book. I'd love to read it myself.

Thank you for the interesting review! While this book may not truly be a mystery novel I do like the flow of it and how well the characters are done. The cover made me think that this would be a mystery style novel, maybe a cozy, but after reading your review I know that it is full of darker things. My interest is piqued so I will be checking out this book and seeing how the characters come together to bring this story to life.

I love your comment and review. The story is engaging. A little bit of romance, trafficking and all the characters were described in detail which made it easy to almost see them before your eyes. It will be fascinating to read and definitely a book i would love to read.
