I have my copy, and I'm really looking forward to reading today's BOTD! The storyline sounds amazing, and I'm excited about being able to watch the events unfold from both sides. Your review was super engaging, and I love that you were able to confirm the accuracy of the details. Thank you so much! Yay! :-)

This seems like a very interesting book, I like the "twist" on the mystery genre where you know the villains from the get go. It seems like it creates a lot of tension and is a very engaging and intriguing read. Great review.

I like that there are such diverse characters, with each having strengths and weaknesses. I also like that their behavior was true to real life; sometimes good, sometimes bad. It sounds like the author has done a great job keeping the story interesting and thrilling. Great review.

Thanks for your review! I'm interested in seeing how Gina's artistic background factors into the investigation and plot. It's sad that Bobby feels like he has to sacrifice his morals to solve the case. It's sad that Gina got swept off her feet by a ruthless mercenary.

I read the sample along with your review and I am very inclined to read it myself I noticed in the sample some of the words were double or triple spaced, but it might be because I was reading it off my phone either way it didn't bother me and I hope to eventually check it out.

Glad to hear that the writing style was easy to follow! The only thing that's slightly disappointing is that the cover looks like it was photoshopped. But still, nice review.

I appreciate your review. I don't like books that include drugs or stuff of that nature I don't think I will be reading this one.

At first I thought the story would be more focused on the violent side of fighting crime. While you did mention that there is violence, your description leads me to believe that it's more intrigue and suspense with a little romance to spice it up. Character development is a major issue for me. I'm glad to see that this one's got it covered.

I don't care for overly violent narratives, but I believe I'll give this one a try. If it's as good as you say, I should be able to skim over the violence and still have an enjoyable read. Thank you for the insightful review. I mostly read sci/fi, but I'm trying to expand my reading horizons a little. You've been a great help. 💕

It sounds like a good read. I really enjoy when the bad guys are sometimes likable and the good are sometimes dislikable. It adds depth to the characters.

I like descriptive crime or drug related novels and this one seems up my alley. I like the relatable characters in the story, Gina, Garcia and Miguel. I hope to follow the action to see how Special Agent Garcia of the DEA makes his war against drug trafickers personal.

I’m not very excited about a book with explicit drug use, so I’ll probably take a pass on this one. I’ll still check it out to make sure though.
