Children/Middle Grade Book Suggestions

Do you have any suggestions for books to read this month that would fall under children/middle grade?

There are definitely many options out there, from classics to newly-released reads. Here are some that came to my mind:

• Charlotte's Web by E.B. White
• A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle
• Matilda by Roald Dahl
• Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein
• The Lorax by Dr. Seuss
• Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library by Chris Grabenstein

If it were October, I would suggest Small Spaces by Katherine Arden! (It would also be what I would be reading!)

Sadly, it does not come out until the last week of this month.
(Yes, I know this is odd, but I am absolutely positive that I will love it just as much as her Winternight Trilogy.)



As it is not October, I would suggest...
The Fablehaven series (or the new continued Fablehaven series)
Harry Potter (at least the early ones)
Or just a reread of Alice.

If we do spooky/Halloween-type books next month, you could read Small Spaces by Katherine Arden.

It's definitely a fun and unique premise. I'm about halfway and it's still a nice one to read.
