On the contrary, following the success of series like Game of Thrones or Vikings and taking into account the number of characters and their plots, it would be more appropriate to turn it into a mini-series, although the brevity of the book would be a setback.

This is a pretty good observation. This book (and the ones to follow) have so much going on that it could try to follow in the steps of Outlander or Vikings and become a series. I think there would be a lot of writers involved to try to flesh out the idea into something more appropriate for the screen.

This can be solved by subtitling in English and other languages. Speaking Celtic and Latin not a bad idea.AliceofX wrote: ↑31 Aug 2018, 23:49 I would say the big issue is the language since the characters speak both Celtic
and Latin. I suppose they could just ignore that aspect completely, but it would
take away from the realism of the story. Do you think there any other issues that
would prevent this book from being adapted?
