First of all congratulations to Reviewer for nicely summarizing such a fiction story in well organized manner. Also thanks to the architect of McDowell , highly ambitious ,devil minded surgeon,His dirty politics spoiled his own career, destroyed his family peace, spoiled his daughter s mind.
McDowell s story is a perfect lesson to all who played dirty politics for power,Thanks.

Nice review, I think this book has a lot of lessons to learn, from self discovery to the influence of family on kids, and self redemption

The book is about a proud and over hyped surgeon named McDowell. He felt he had it all and kept stepping on toes until he landed himself in trouble that sent him to jail.Though, he escaped but he became a fugitive of the law.The book is about his rise and fall. It also shows nothing lasts forever.Furthermore, it spoke about his family life , how negligent he was in raising his kids. For me , the is a must read for every family and anyone who feel they have it all. I rate the book 4

Good review @ Rosemary, i like your approach in your review. personally i loved the issues addressed in the book, the marriage, politics the rising and falling of prominent people. the artistic language in the book is superb, creation of curiosity and suspense that makes the reader to search for the proceeding scenes. The book has a lot of life lessons to be learnt. I also give it 4/4

Great review. The rise and fall of an unscrupulous, arrogant surgeon, a prison break, and a fast paced suspenseful plot makes this book almost irresistible for me personally. It’s definitely going on my TBR. Congrats to the author on a rave review. Thanks so much for sharing.

I think this would be a very good lesson on arrogance and selfishness, and how these traits could ruin someone. Very interesting, though I don't usually read books with a lot of politics in it.

I also reviewed the novel, I enjoyed the novel a lot because it has a lot of lessons to teach every one on earth. McDowell has his own weaknesses and strengths in life. I felt sad for him because of the bad way he chaired the board of surgeons. And I recommend the novel to people who love modern developments especially in the medical fields.

I'm reading this book now. Hiram is a heel in Part 1. Will he redeem himself in Part 2?

I like the characters so far - vivid portrayals of believable people. The unhappy wife, vengeful colleague and spoiled son shine for me, along with Hiram, the heel.

Thanks for the enlightening review!
