Thanks for the nice review. The story is scary, although it has some side attractions of love.I don't read such books.

It sounds like the premise is unique and would quickly capture my interest. However, when I read that there were some timeline issues, that was a turn off. I’m still considering picking this up though. :D

Purgatory’s Angel is a read that sounds right up my alley with the elements of demons, dreaming, and romance. I also like that while this story does sound pretty dark and heavy, it depicts issues like sexual assault and rape, which I think are topics that need to be discussed. I’m definitely pretty excited to read this book because what I read in the sample made me want to continue reading to see what happened next.

I always enjoy reading your reviews. What a premise - that our inner demons run amok in our dreams, and that some dreams we don't wake from! Scary. This one's not in my genre, but thank you for the great introduction to the book.

Thanks for the interesting review! I am an avid fan of paranormal novels and this book sounds like it will be right up my alley! An angel who gets pulled into dreams to do battle and save the lives of the victims. I have to say that I'm excited to read this book!

Torture and rape are not elements that I would read in a novel. Thanks for the review.

The places of dreamland can be dark and twisted, leading us on journeys that can only take place in our imagination. While lore of angels and demons is deeply rooted in much of literary fiction, it can equally be intense to read for many given its propensity to lean towards dark matters. Given this tendency, based upon the daily reading and this review, I would say that this book is a pass for me. Thank you very much for the review though. :)

I had only read the sample when I decided that I wanted to read this book. Reading your review has me second guessing myself. I usually don't do well with overly gruesome stories. I'm tempted to go ahead with it and see how far I get. But, I don't know if I should. I don't want to trigger a bad dream, especially when dreams are an important part of the story. Hmm....

This book sounds a lot like the shadow hunter series, which I did not care for. Thanks for the good review but I think I will pass on this one.

I'm one of those people who doesn't like insta-romance. The wanting to kiss him or slit his throat is too cliche for me. But the concept sounds so unique and I do love that the main character is a strong heroine

this sounds like a very intriguing story. I like that the supernatural elements involving dreams make it a little different from the typical paranormal romance. I consider this a must-read.

I appreciate the warning that this book has graphic and gruesome content and that Jesus is somehow included in the unholy tale. I will pass on this book.

From a sampling, this was an interesting fantasy romance. It is a well known motif to have an angel and a devil on your shoulders, but to have your inner demons running amok in your dreams. That is on par with some great fantasy themes. Well Done.
