I think that this will be a good book of poems for any and everyone struggling with being a minority and of just simply being different it doesn't matter in which lite. Some people do suffer more than others behind this issue and it is nice to hear of someone finding themselves or their voice as said in this book. But, altogether becoming strong and appreciate and accept who they are.

Poetry about real life issues. I can't promise to read it cover to cover but I think I could enjoy dipping in and out of it.

Thank you for the insightful review. I don't often read poetry, but this seems interesting. I like the idea of the soul being essential to life and that we often disregard that essential element. It seems the author has tapped into this very real crisis through poetry and I am very much excited to read her works. The book is free right now on Amazon. I'm going for it.

Glad that you enjoyed the book. Poetry is not in my wheelhouse, but I will pass it on to some of my friends.

Journey of a Bedroom Poet by Catherine Napalai Faulder is a delightful yet evocative collection of poems that gives us a glance at the poet’s life. Catherine expresses her feelings through classical #Poetry. The book was written stylishly with hand-drawn images peppered randomly in between the pages.

Thanks for your succinct review.

I'm not very interested in poetry, but I think a lot of people could benefit from the author's message. I especially like that she speaks of defining yourself without regard for others' opinions.

The moment I got to the poems themselves I had to step away because I felt they needed my undivided attention. Reading this review makes me realize just how right I was on that notion. I can’t wait to read these poems to their fullest and I love the quote you included. I’m so excited to read these poetry book!
