I don't usually gravitate towards non-fiction "self help" books, rather I enjoy reading to escape real life. However, after reviewing this sample, I would consider reading Something Happened Today. Many of his comments hit close to home, and I could see myself enjoying reading how he handled them. Sometimes others experiences can help you when you are struggling or feeling lost.

This author seems to have a nice way of building pictures in the readers minds to project positivity. I have to agree with you on the editing being lacking. I read the sample pages, and while I enjoyed that, I could not get past the poor formatting and lack of punctuation in places. Maybe once that is done, it would be one that I would enjoy more. Thanks for this review. It seems like it has great potential.

This review is perfect timing. The fall has brought me some blues and I think this book will help with that based on your review. I can always appreciate people who can convey truths with a positive message since truths are not always sunny side up! It sounds like this author has that down packed so I'm looking forward to it. Your review gave me crisp idea about the book content and how well it is presented. Bit sad that there are some shortcomings regarding the grammar that did not meet the requirements, but on the other hand it has cute and humorous stories about the day to day life of the author Paul E. Kotz, which makes it interesting to read. Glad to see that this book sheds lights on important truths about life and make one feel lighthearted at same time.
