YA fantasy is my favorite genre. I think this is perfect for Halloween gift for kids who love to read. Author has given a good quality mystery with the sense of adventure which keeps a reader’s attention. 💐💐👍🏻💐

From the review, I can tell that this promises to be an interesting read as it is obvious that the reviewer enjoyed reading it. Erik's curiosity got the best of him as the evil witch placed a curse on him for taking a mysterious artifact. I hope he finds a cure for the ailment that rapidly turns him into a creature of darkness. Congrats to the author for winning BOTD.

Sounds like a great adventure to read. I love to read YA books with my kids. That way we can both discuss it and be excited. I want to know what happens to Erik and see how far into a creature of darkness he turns into. Great review.

I love YA fantasy. From the cover of the book, I was first reminded of Scooby Doo which made me think this would be appropriate for pre-teens or young teens. However, there seems to be quite a lot of mystery in the plot that I think YA fans, including myself, can appreciate. This sounds like one I will have to check out.

This book seems awesome. I totally understand why you love YA, there’s definitely an appeal in it, even for adults.
I really like that the female character isn’t stereotypical and I usually enjoy very much reading from different voices and points of view.
Seems like a great book for all ages, and I love your enthusiastic review, thank you.

I haven't picked up a YA novel in a while, mostly I've been stuck in reading Plato and Virgil. This seems like a fun read and I'm glad any bad grammar didn't get in the way of any enjoyment. I liked the cover art, seems intriguing. Great review!
Give me the courage to get through this week...or at least a big bar of chocolate :D

Sounds like extremely fun! I don't mind reading a YA book once in a while, besides it has it's advantages. Seems like teens can learn from this read about what happens to people when they steal. Thank you for your review!

Candlewood is a small town and a fictitious land along with the edge of Brettenwood a mysterious and dark forest where nobody dares to venture. And at the edge of the Brettenwood lives Erik a preteen boy who wants to explore this uncharted dark forest. An adventurous story with mysterious aspects worth reading.

I love YA Fantasy as well. The cover does not really draw me in, but I love that the story is so well-developed and the scenes are so descriptive! Congrats on the book of the day! Great review!
