Interesting! I wonder what the mysterious artifact was. I am a fan of YA as well and I think I would like this book. I'm gearing up for the adventure. I added it to my to-read list.

This is a great review and I am glad that you enjoyed this book so much. I like the YA genre a lot too, but not as much as the mystery/thriller genre. I am glad that the author combined the two genres into one book that sounds very intriguing. I am always impressed about the courage and tenacity of the teenagers and children in YA books especially in the face of tremendous obstacles.

Your review was quite enchanting Cataclysmicknight, and your excitement about having enjoyed this well-written, YA fantasy is infectious too, anyone would want to read the mystery and myths involving the Brettenwood forest.

I have zero shame in admitting that YA fantasy is my favorite genre of books. I wish to direct this kind of genre to young people.

 Great job on the review. I do appreciate a good fantasy, well written was the good description that brings the story to life. Great job and congratulations on #BOTD to the author.

Between the sample I have read, and the thoughtful review you have provided, I definitely need to look into this one. Good work, Cataclysmic Knight. The last line, in particular, hit home.

"In fact, there was a point in the last part of the book where I felt this might be a part one in a series, and for the first time in a long time I WANTED it to be!"

That is one heck of a recommendation.

seems pretty interesting the sample was a tease and the review just down right mean (just kidding, well slightly) I think this would be a fun one to keep for when my little one gets old enough to read on his own. plus its pretty cool it got a spooky Halloween feel right during the season.

Young adult fantasy isn’t near the top of my favorite genres list, buuuuut this review indeed makes the story sound pretty awesome! Sometimes it’s so great to get lost in fantasy — and when it’s well-written, it’s totally worth it. Thanks for the compelling review!
