This sounds like a great book and one that is unique in the YA genre. I am also a fan of historical fiction and I love the idea of returning to Earth during different time periods. I like the multi-dimensional story that the author created and the foundation of reincarnation.

Thanks for the thoroughly insightful review. The book does seem quite captivating with a new twist to the premise of reincarnation, as in, that souls visit earth to take lessons. Moreover, romance in the story begins after life ends.
