Red Wave Imperative by Alan Schein is a non-fiction book that talks about the politics and socio-economic life of Americans. Following the emergence of Donald Trump as president of the United States, the differences between Democrats and Republicans have widened.

The main aim of this book is to discourage Americans from voting for the Democratic party in the coming election. This book contains seventeen chapters with its summary inclusiveness. The first chapter generally talks about the reasons to vote Republican in the coming 2018 mid-election. Chapter three to chapter fourteen screeds extensively on the reasons why Americans should not vote for the Democratic Party. The author suggests that previous actions of the Democrats have endangered the lives of Americans. Chapter Fifteen includes problem-solving discussions raised to support Republicans in improving health insurance; improving the quality of education; lowering the cost of prescription drugs, to mention a few. Chapter sixteen focuses on President Trump’s accomplishments, and the book's summary is in chapter seventeen.

Alan Schein has done a meticulous research, which is the major strength of the book. He advocates a solution in this book called Modern Vox Populi. He explains how it has helped Singapore’s political system and goes on to explain how the rationale for socialism will not suit Americans. He didn't fail to discuss topics like terrorism, immigration, gun control and the general economic crisis.

Schein's style of writing in this book is somewhat unique. He starts each chapter with a topic that serves as the theory, then ends the chapter with a poll-like question for readers to decide which side of the fence to be.

As a non-American living outside America, I find this book very informative. It has helped me understand the political system in America. Although this book is solely about American politics, it has given me insights into how politics in my country works. Almost, if not all the points the author gives in this book applies to the political system in my country.

On a few occasions, I wanted to stop reading this book because of its bias theories. While Schein tries to convince Americans to vote for Republicans in the mid-election coming up later this year, he condemns everything the Democrats represent. In doing this, he has acted contrary to what he suggests in this book. He blames Democrats for the wrongdoings of Republicans knowing fully-well that, there are corrupt leaders in both the Republican and Democratic parties.

This book is not for everyone. It is quite obvious that the author is a strong Republican which will make the book very offensive to Democrats. There are quite a few grammatical errors in the book. Readers that have an interest in American politics and economy, may find this book interesting to read.

I rate Red Wave Imperative by Alan Schein 2 out of 4 stars because of its bias theories. I didn't give it a 3-star rating because of a few grammatical errors, and I didn't give it a 1-star rating because it is well edited, and it is a very informative book.

I certainly would not read a book telling me who to vote for. A better way of executing the book would have been to lay down facts (good and bad) about both parties and leave the decision of who to vote to the reader. Thank you for the review.

I am not keen on politics. I do not even follow what the politicians in my country are doing (or misdoing). This is definitely not a book for me. Besides, I am most definitely not a fan of Trump.

I felt the same way when reading this one as well. But, I decided to skip the author's biased point of view; I decided to view it neutrally and I ended learning a lot. Thanks for your comment.

I actually enjoyed this book, but I am on the conservative side of politics. The author does point corruption on both sides. However, it is clear from the get-go what his agenda was. I will admit the promoting of Trump at the end was overkill though. Thanks for your review.

The purpose of the book is encourage people to vote Republican in the just concluded elections. I think the purpose of the book was fulfilled. But, how many people will read this? I appreciate your comment.
