Misreading Judas by Robert Wahler is a #NonFiction book about #Religion, #Bible #Analysis, #Gnosticism, and #Mysticism. This is Wahler's detailed story of how the New Testament canonical 'Betrayal of Jesus' became the inversion of the gnostic mastership installation story of James the Just, first-century savior. This is not the usual genre I pick up for entertainment. Thanks for the compelling review.

I like it when a writer's style of writing is clear and concise. I'd love to read more on the story of Judas. It's seems like an interesting read. Thanks for the review

Basically, Robert Wahler contends that Jesus wasn’t the only one and that he didn’t die for anyone’s sins. I'd rather not make a defining or authoritative statement on this but then the beauty of every piece of work is the criticisms that come after.

This is definitely not my thing. I don't like religious books, and this one doesn't seem like an exception.

I haven't much knowledge about gnostic but Gospel of Judas links the mystical teachings of different religions. The Jesus was uplifted by God in Heaven.
The Christ Scholers hide many mystic things from their followers.
This book is interesting to read for those who loves mystic or have mystical taste. But importantly for those who have knowledge about Gnostic and Christianity. Many thing in Christanity Testament are interpupillary to original Testament as revealed by Top Christian Schoolers.

From my own perception, Robert Wahlers has really tried in his findings actually but to me it doesn't seam to me that Judas betrayal is misjudged or inverted because of what's in the bible and its cos am not believing anything outside the bible. Thank you

Maybe it's just my mood, but I can't get into reading very much of this. It's wordy and does not get my attention. I don't like the art on the cover page.

A theoretical novel about the actual deeds of Judas Iscariot and Jesus Christ. It is a surprise for me because I never think there will be a person we will analyse and interpret the Bible and source a theory. However, the book sounds interesting to read and I am willing to give it a shot, even though I do not concur with this theory. I just want to find out more from the author's viewpoint.

Definitely sounds like an interesting redm I am not too familiar with this view point, so it would be enlightening to red what the author has found and draw my own co conclusions. Thanks for the review.

All theses stated details are fascinating, but this is clearly not my area of interest. Thank you for your review!

From a sampling, this is an interesting take on a fundamental piece of Christian belief, specifically Judas Iscariot and his role in the arrest and prosecution of Jesus. It is always good to read different scholars' opinions and theories on history and religion. Well Done.

As far as writing a review about the book, you covered the main topics and make it quite clear what the author claims. I am not interested in a book that claims Judas is the Messiah and discounts Jesus and the whole message of the Bible. I am very satisfied with believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who died on the cross for all people who will believe in Him. He rose from the grave and has power over death. The author's claim that "no one has correctly translated the Gospel of Judas until his research emerged," is a red flag of a cult to me.
