I have downloaded the copy to read. I am thankful for your review since I am looking for a "feel good " book at the moment. A memoir usually has deep pain instilled in it, but this one sounds like one that brings family memories and cherished moments. Great review.

Great review. I'm not very much into memoirs, but I'm glad you enjoyed this book. It sure is an inspirational journey and a lot of things can be learned from the author's father. Thank you for this amazing review. I enjoyed reading it.

I don't like non-fiction as a genre in a whole and memoirs in particular. So, unfortunately I will have to skip it, but from the bottom of my heart wish you to find your readers, because after reading this review consider your book to be something special.

Usually, I'm not a fan of memoirs, but the context makes me want to read this memoir. It's good to know that the author is not preachy since books like that are unbearable to read.

Although I don't usually read inspirational memoirs, I appreciate Amy's womderful tribute to her father and I am sure writing this book helped her cope with his death and remember all the lessons he taught her. Since the author's style is emotional and relatable, there will be lots of readers out there who will be touched and inspired by Amy's heartwarming story. Thanks for a great review!

I like how the author incorporated photographs. This adds authenticity to a memoir.

Thank you for the great review.

Memoirs, I thought, were supposed to make you weepy and sad. This review tells otherwise. It attempts to inspire others to do as the author of the book has suggested.

Thank you for this enlightening review.

By Amy Mathis; Wow this book is incredibly inspiring and full of lessons
I think what Amy Mathis s doing is worth leaning and commendable by simply making our father or loved ones good deeds a legacy , the world will be a better place if we all adapt good deeds of others as our lif estyle so kudos to Amy for making it a family legacy life style

I enjoyed the modesty the author shows in the sample; she uses teachable moment in this piece to give honor and respect to those represented here. This is about as real as it gets in terms of biographical writing.

I have never read a memoir (or at least have not done so in a long time). It's amazing that although I do not know Mr. Mathis, your review caused me to stop and think about the beauty of one particular human's journey through life. I also appreciate that you included the life lessons; they all mirror the values that I was brought up with. It seems like a worthwhile read if you want to delve into someone else's life for a little while. Added perspective is never a bad thing.

It's touching with stories like these existing, they really help people no longer feel alone. For both the author and the reader. A very touching memoir.
