I loved what I read of the sample, it made me cry. Many animal lovers will love this book. When I read about their first dog passing away, it made me think of my dog Luckey, and how this may it will have been two years since his passing. This is a great book for animal lovers and for those who have lost a beloved pet.

Great review. This sounds like such a positive, feel-good read. Service dogs are such important parts of happiness and help to so many people. I love that this book is so heartwarming and humorous. Pogo sounds like a wonderful, unique dog. Definitely checking this one out. Thanks so much for sharing.

Ahh, it sounds like a treat - one that I'm going to spoil myself with. I love feel- good animal stories, especially if they're true.
Your review actually also reflects the style of writing I imagine the book uses... anecdotal and intimate.
Lovely review!

This book seems like an inspiring and uplifting book. The story of pogo, the intelligent dog is captivating. I would love to read this book as I have a soft spot for dogs. Congrats on BOTD.

This sounds very interesting, but whilst I am sure that the anecdotes are heartwarming, I am concerned that the review does not mention the welfare of Pogo at all. Does being a therapy dog benefit the worker as well as the patients? I am encouraged to read on and find out.

Your review of the book persuaded me to add this book to my list. I normally don't go for these kinds of non-fiction books but I am interested because it seems like there could be a large variety of the types of people the dog encounters. It should be more interesting than reading about how a dog has helped in only a single persons life.

I love dogs. But I am doubtful whether this book will keep me attracted. Anyway, congratulations on being BOTD and thanks for the free giveaway

This book tells the tales of Pogo's adventures and her antics with her owner, or the author of this book, and the book has some interesting stories about this dog Pogo.

A gentle and heartwarming review, which especially appealed to me as a lover of all animals (but especially dogs). I will definitely have to read all of this book and not just the sample, even if I'm sure that parts of it will make me cry because these sorts of stories also make me very emotional!
